INTRODUCTION:
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a healthcare
professional responsible for providing fundamental patient care under the
supervision of a registered or licensed practical nurse. CNAs work in different
healthcare environments, including hospitals, long-term care facilities,
assisted living facilities, and home healthcare agencies.
